Vacuum Dehydration Services
Global Industrial Solutions can provide Vacuum Dehydration Oil Purification Services, with the latest in technology Vacuum Dehydrators. Our Vacuum Dehydrators are suitable for use on a wide variety of hydraulic and lubrication oils. These machines are designed to efficiently remove moisture (free, emulsified, and dissolved) to overall water content as low as 20 PPM. They also come equipped with a single high-efficiency 5-Micron pleated micro glass filter element rated Beta(c)>1000 per ISO 16889, meaning that 99.9% of all particles 5-Micron and larger will be removed in a single pass. This element will enable you to quickly and reliably achieve very low particle
counts to meet or exceed an ISO 17/14/10 Cleanliness Level, which is typically much cleaner than brand new oil.
Several design features enable our vacuum dehydrators to consistently outperform others on the market today. First of all, we utilize Permanent Dispersion Media in the vacuum chamber rather than coalescer filter elements, resulting in optimal water extraction rates and eliminating the need for frequent and costly coalescer element change-outs. Second, our systems utilize an internally lubricated "claw-style" vacuum pump, which pulls deeper vacuum and requires much less maintenance than other conventional vacuum pumps. Finally, our systems are equipped with a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD), which greatly enhances their overall performance on high viscosity oils, during cold start-ups, or when a restricted inlet condition.
Varnish Removal Services
Global Industrial Solutions now offers high speed electrostatic varnish removal services. These services are specifically designed for Power Plant applications. Varnish or lacquer is a high molecular weight substance that is insoluble in oil. If left untreated, varnish insolubles will agglomerate into larger particles and deposit on machinery surfaces, especially around critical small clearance areas and orifices. This film will build over time and cause numerous problems including mechanical wear, system sticking, filter plugging, poor heat transfer, catalytic deterioration of the lubricant, and eventual mechanical failure. Varnish is a large problem in todays stressed Industrial Environment. GIS is a leader in removing varnish in turbine, hydraulic and industrial circulating systems utilizing both service and equipment offerings and a unique process to help remove varnish and maintain system cleanliness.

High Velocity Flushing
GIS offers High Velocity Flushing Services to rapidly purify large reservoirs and achieve low particle counts and low water PPM. GIS typically will setup a flushing service in a kidney loop configuration looking to remove any stuck particles or particulate on the reservoir walls or in the hydraulic or turbine lines themselves. Reservoir flushing can be cleaned at a rate up to 1000 GPM, typically reducing particulate levels to ISO Code 14/12/9. These services are designed to handle hydraulic and lubrication oils with viscosities ranging from ISO 32 to ISO 680.
